Yael stone, who is a New York City Australian resident, was the character Lorna Morello in Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael was awarded her NIDA degree. Yael has been fortunate to be able from an early age to have worked with the best storytellers and performers in Australia and pioneers working in the television, film and theatre industry. Yael is a renowned actor with a thriving career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael's journey to New York City began when the production received a prestigious review by the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Yael was co-founder of The Cannery. Working from a studio in Bushwick, Brooklyn, the business supports the development of new writing as well as imaginative, inventive ventures.
