Tessa Thompson

Tessa Lynn Thompson, an artist and performer from Los Angeles was born in 1983. She is the daughter of singer-songwriter Marc Anthony Thompson and the niece of actor-musician Bobby Ramos. The family lived as a child in Los Angeles before moving to Brooklyn, New York. Her father has Afro-Panamanian heritage and her mother of Mexican as well as British Isles origins.
