Cheryl Hines
Cheryl Ruth Hines is a Florida native who was born the 21st of September, 1965 in Miami Beach to Rosemary (Graham) and James Hines. Her parents were James Hines and Rosemary (Graham). The family lived in Tallahassee. She went to West Virginia University, Florida State University and graduated at the University of Central Florida. She studied theater and television production. But it was not until after she relocated in Los Angeles and studied at the Groundlings Theater that she felt she'd learned something about comedy. Lisa Kudrow, her first teacher at the Groundlings Theatre was an excellent teacher. She began to learn how to improvise, and then draw comic sketches. The lessons learned helped help her prepare for her job of Larry David's wife on the HBO show Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000). The dialogue of the comedy is made up, which means she's at home. Still, she performs at the Groundlings Theater when she has the opportunity.
